As annoying as manga readers are, acting smarter than everyone else by never shutting up about how people might be disappointed by this season because there's less action, I did think this episode was a little boring, but not for a lack of action or the story progressing too slowly. It was mostly because I found Einar kind of annoying and because I hated some of the OST. The track that played while Thorfinn and Einar were removing the tree stump also played in the second episode while they were working and I was hoping we'd never hear it again. It's just like the most generic, obnoxious idle fantasy video game music. The other reason is I think some things are genuinely slower than they should be, like walking, or they'll linger one shot for a long time or spend too much time panning. Apart from that I think they're doing a great job so far.
