Sure he's pretty weak and kind of a dumbass, but from his first introduction with the snake we saw how despite being afraid he can be very brave :D and I really love how he stood up for Yumehara and Teruhashi in this episode!! (Also, maybe it's just me, but I feel like Saiki is always kind of cheering for him or helping him out when he really doesn't have to, like with the snake or the guy who tried to use him by pretending to believe in his whole dark reunion schtick or the fortune teller lady or this episode with the pills he needed and those locals who hit on the girls. Idk, it's really sweet, he gave him the thumbs up and even used one of these local dialect terms Kaido went on about earlier :D)
