They're ridiculous each one's worst than the last 😩

What you’re realizing is that the Generation of Miracles all have ridiculously large egos. To be fair, they are just first year high schoolers, so it’s entirely realistic for someone with their emotional maturity to become arrogant, especially with the kind of dominance they’ve displayed.
Like, can you imagine the insanity of facing them all in one team? With how badly they would have crushed their opponents it’s no wonder a bunch of teenagers started considering themselves invincible.
P.S.: Keep an eye out for OVA episodes! The Kuroko ones are really good, and they’re marked as “.5” episodes, e.g. “41.5”. There’s a few in each season, I think one’s coming up soon.

gives me chills to just think about how many people go missing like that - like their family members must be going through hell hanging on to hope everyday not even knowing whether the missing person is alive or not.

YES!! I can't imagine how terrifying it is for the person, for the family for everyone involved...

It's so freaking scary that people can just disappear like that without any hints where they went D:

That's the thing - in the end no one cares how you do it or whether you cooperate with the others or not. A win is a win full stop. I'm convinced kise can start a fistfight with his teammates but if it means a win then eh it's all good 😭

Not related to anything you said but I'm gonna ramble a bit, excuse the long post haha.
The fact that Aomine is a genius at what he does throws me back to Haikyuu's Kita quote about geniuses. Yes, current Aomine isn't practicing but if people dismiss him just because he's a genius, it disregards everything that led him to become this good in the first place. Hence, losing before you even get to do a match against him, on the mental aspect of the encounter.
Imayoshi (his captain) probably acknowledges him as a player because he's efficient thanks to all the work he put in the past, nurturing his present talent. So despite his non-existent effort at team building, he's allowed to play.
People should also not overlook the fact that Midorima, while better in the team and practice aspects, also is very much an egoist to the point his coach ALLOWED him to have self-centered wishes every day, that the team Captain accepted as well, because he's that good. In the end, competition is about winning for most people, and not everyone is a Kuroko who wants to feel better winning as a team.
