This has to be one of my favorite episodes!
And I know pretty much everyone is freaking out about Loid and Yor, but I really, really loved the part with Anya and Becky!!
I love Becky and her and Anya's friendship is so adorable and genuine and one of the best parts of the show (maybe also cause I mostly prefer the school stuff with Damian, Anya and Becky).
Anyways, I love their friendship and this episode and learning a bit more about Becky's background made me bawl my eyes out (yes, friendship and kindness gets to me ok), they're so precious and I love Becky even more now and the way Damian looked at them at the end??
Like Anya doesn't really need fancy clothes to impress him, her personality and sunshine smile are more than enough I think (also it's really nice to see how Anya is influencing these kids around her, I think Damian and Becky both need someone so kind and genuine in their lives <3)

Idk, at least for me it is strange that they didn't develop any love interest to each other at this point. It's enough time to even go for it or part ways.

This is probably my fav S1 episode. We finally finally finally get to see Twi-Yor chemistry, even though I wish they would have based the entire episode around that. But I still really enjoyed Anya-Becky shopping part as well - its really wholesome how Becky has changed for the better after being around Anya.

I was expecting that as well, but the show is really focusing on Anya at school, which is why it's easier to get excited by the interactions with all of the kids. If Loid and Yor are supposed to end up together, I'm holding out hope we'll get more episodes dedicated to just the two of them.

I guess I was expecting the second half to show more of that chemistry we were missing but even now I'm like wow they're basically strangers haha

I think Loid and Yor's relationship makes sense up to this point. They both went into it, knowing it was going to be for show. It wouldn't be realistic for one or both to just already have strong romantic feelings, especially with Loid's schedule keeping him out of the house most days. As Loid mentioned, though, we have seen Yor get a lot closer to Anya, whom we know Loid really cares about. I like that Loid opened up to Yor about his mother since Yor has already told Loid about her childhood. I think the relationship is being written very realistically so far. I'm sure we'll get there.
