Watching these reactions and I just realized Dayeon from Kep1er was in this season. I forgot somehow since I watched it before Girl's Planet 999. Curious if you remembered her later when you first saw Kep1er content in Queendom 2 and now their show you're watching episodics for.

2023-10-07 08:00:30 +0000 UTCI only started really getting into fromis during DM era, but knew of the group because of gyuri when I watched PD48. She mentioned that she wasn't at all confident with herself as an idol on multiple occasions back then, prior to joining PD48. And I think being in the show really did help her a lot with that. But also I totally believe that they sent her there to promote fromis because mnet will be mnet.

2023-09-21 01:31:06 +0000 UTCBecause she had basically never trained before making it into Fromis. She felt she was lacking compared to the other members and a show like Produce really drills into trainees skills that take months/years to gain otherwise.

2023-09-21 01:29:34 +0000 UTCI noticed her after I watched her in Cheer Up. I’m not as familiar with Gyuri from earlier on, but I’d imagine as Davids12345100 said she’s the visual. Plus she wasn’t a main, which would make working performances around without her easier. I don’t think any members who’d already been on multiple survival shows like Jiwon would have been keen either.

2023-09-20 04:43:06 +0000 UTCI didn’t really follow F9 until Gyuri did PD48…she impressed me so much on the show that I decided I’d look more into F9 (& I am forever grateful that I did). All this to say I didn’t know much about them early on but as I understand Gyuri was the fotg which leads me to believe she was pretty popular. I could be wrong, if so…sorry

I guess for some context about Matsui Jurina, She was 21 at the time of filming. A lot of people mistook her for being older because of her mature look (she's always looked that way though- even at her debut). I think you guys will like her and the rest of the AKB members that participated in the show. They really did brought a refreshing take on what it means to be a trainee. :D

The guts at 17 to just stop the initial scoring with the judges to have a skit is crazy. Helps, to some extent, that her brother was an idol. I think she came into the industry knowing that she needed her personality to shine. But I'm a bit biased.

2023-09-18 17:14:38 +0000 UTCJYP, in general, has has a LOT of talented trainees that have left to debut in other very popular groups. JYP doesn’t just debut the most talented trainees, but in the case of Somi and Chaeyeon it’s a little different. Somi was supposed to debut in ITZY but left on her own accord (likely because she wanted to be solo) and Yuna was added to the lineup after she left (predebut concept photos show Somi and ITZY minus Yuna in similar styling and the 5 hung out a lot). Chaeyeon left so that her sister could debut (it’s alleged they were told only 1 sister would be able to debut so Chaeyeon left so that her little sister could have the spot).

2023-09-18 13:44:17 +0000 UTCthere are so many of them, my girl Haeyoon from Cherry Bullet (FNC Ent) is in this show too (she's one of the best vocalist 🔊) also, it's from this show that made me bias Minju 🥺 Rocket Punch Suyun (@53:51 Han noticed her, she's in Woollim with Chaewon & Eunbi😂) , Sohee (from Woollim too) and Juri are in here too. Riina from H1-KEY is here too (WM Ent same with Chaeyeon) I love Lee Sian too but she still has not debuted 😢

Matsui Jurina, the Japanese girl who's presented as the most popular in AKB48, is the one Sakura wrestled against in that iconic match. That video cracks me up everytime but I gotta say, Jurina is a great actress and entertainer.
