Very late to this but I only stumbled onto your YT channel mentioning the stream today! Had to pop in a sub to your Patreon, 100% worth it for this video. Watching you guys talk about how Yiren is cute and adorable knowing from the spreadsheet that you were going to watch her dance cover late on was leaving me here like >_>;; and then when you watched it I was in fits of laughter at your reactions, it was the entertainment I hoped for and more. I'm an Aisha bias personally, but I always feel like even if someone doesn't bias Onda, they will always love her and want to protect her. She's genuinely sweet, always smiling in all their videos. I'll note, however, that of all the members she is absolutely the most innocent and endearing. Early on in your VOD you mentioned how they all appear so confident even performing right after debut - Onda suffered hugely for confidence before going onto stage and was in tears over it, and E:U and the staff were able to get her ready and she killed it. She's the true cinnamon roll of K-Pop for me, and is probably my second favourite, although I genuinely like yourselves love all six. They were the first K-Pop artist/group that I actually "fell in love" with, despite enjoying K-Pop casually before then because a lot of my friends liked various Korean artists. Everglow were just that something special for me and I'm delighted you guys enjoy their stuff so much! Also, glad you do actual Deep Dives rather than reactions to MVs only. Looking forward to checking out more of your VODs, particularly Mamamoo. If you ever want to feel even more pain for loving another K-Pop girl group who haven't released songs in ~2 years, check out Weki Meki, they have a really similar vibe to Everglow and have actually done a show with them before, too. :)

Remember Dreamcatcher mind? Everglow Land is very similar. You'll see the context of the watermelon stunt with E:U and Aisha. If you're wanting to cry, now that you've learned about them, watch the episodes of For:Ever:Glow. People don't often realize how hard it has been for 4th gen groups to survive through the whole pandemic shut down. This will give some insight to their feelings. Bring a tissue. Thanks for the stream. Thanks for loving them. Also, if I had been there, I would have chosen Onda for Han. Onda is my bias. But I also uderstand Kess' dilema about choosing a Bias. I'm that way with DC. I think you understand now why DC & EG are my two ult groups. I'm happy you have found them. When you're ready, there's a whole 50 minute episode of a variety show with both DC & EG together.

2023-04-24 04:36:21 +0000 UTCI may be biased because it was my first comeback*, but I'd also vote for Odd Eye era being the best for dc member styling across the board. *technically, I was fan during Scream era, but I didn't know how kpop comebacks worked back then and so missed it until I ran across the MV at some point.
