Sans is amazing, she and Momo come to Korea together and we all know how “good” momo is😂 Btw, Japanese and Korean is quick smilier. They have similar sentences structure. but on the other hand Chinese and Korean grammar is very different. Therefore it is harder for Tzuyu to learn Korean the J-line .

2023-04-10 21:11:34 +0000 UTCAlso I love how many times you asked about Momo because that's always how I feel whenever any members are missing lol. Even in predebut content like this I'm like man, Momo would have done so well with this performance :(

2023-04-06 01:12:21 +0000 UTCIt's funny how Twice were basically meant to be itzy but with even more hip hop influences. Their initial concept was "Wild edge", but then they tried something softer with Cheer Up and Sana shy shy shyed her way to iconic status and well. Jype went in the direction that got them the most attention and fans! I'd say it was definitely an adjustment for all of them but they really can rock every concept. You'd never even know they weren't initially planned as a cute group if you watched their early mvs haha.

2023-04-05 04:25:20 +0000 UTCWho's Momo? You mean that same Momo who got eliminated in Sixteen and didn't make the 8 member group now known as TWICE?

2023-04-05 01:07:11 +0000 UTCAlso, all the songs performed at the finale ARE b-sides on their debut EP. Personally, the only good Twice version is Do It Again. Not a huge fan of the line redistributions for I’m Going Crazy and Truth (HATE that they axed the rap on Truth too)

2023-04-04 20:34:31 +0000 UTCTo answer y’all question about who JYP would’ve debuted if this show didn’t happen, there’s actually a very clear answer to who the definites were. I was on the Kpop internet when JYP was planning on Got7 6Mix and 5Live (which became Day6) as their new potential groups. 6Mix was originally going to have Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Minyoung from Sixteen. There were 2 other trainees. Cecilia, a Chinese trainee from Australia who is now an actress in China, and Lena, who you may know as the featured rapper in Sunmi’s Full Moon. Cecilia left JYP and then Sana was pulled from the Japan team and added to the 6MIX lineup. This can be seen by how these girls were all featured in Got7 MVs too. Jeongyeon and Nayeon were in the debut, Girls Girls Girls, and Sana was the main girl in their first comeback, A. Between A and Stop Stop It is likely when the plan to not debut 6MIX happened (likely triggered in part by Lena leaving JYP too) and the plan for Sixteen happened, because Stop Stop It included several new girls. Dahyun was the main girl but Momo, Tzuyu, Chaeyoung and Somi made appearances too. And then the 4 girls that were mentioned in Ep1 that appeared in Miss A’s Only You.

2023-04-04 19:29:47 +0000 UTCIm telling you Momo is Natty in disguise she has been there the whole time, the real Natty was locked in a closet by Momo.

2023-04-04 19:10:03 +0000 UTCThe obsession over Momo is a bit annoying....you just need to be patient. It will be worth it!

2023-04-04 18:30:44 +0000 UTCThe lady who you thought is Jihyo’s mon is Jeonyeon’s sister Seungyeon, you have met her in EP.2 And yes that was Somi’s baby sister. Chaeyeon and Chaeryeong ‘s little sister was there too.

2023-04-04 16:27:47 +0000 UTCAlso, I know he's a silly silly man, but I think JYP himself is actually a legitimate genius. Like you mentioned, he has a real talent for picking real talent, he makes really good music and songs, and his company kept their growth even after the Panini. (SM and YG lost their Blue Chip certification/staus, but JYPE kept theirs. I know he's not CEO anymore, but I think his ideas are taken at great value) He has some really good ideas and excellent skills in business, marketing and music creation. You can say what you want about him as a person, but you can't deny that he's very good at what he does.

2023-04-04 15:54:47 +0000 UTCTo answer your question about why Twice’s sound changed from the music that’s in Sixteen to Cheer Up and beyond, to my knowledge it was because Like Ooh-Ahh/The Story Begins (their first mini album) didn’t do as well as they had hoped, while in contrast Cheer Up/Page Two (their second mini album) blew up sooooooo much. Like it cannot be overstated how huge Cheer Up was in Korea and how, because of it, Twice’s fame and influence absolutely skyrocketed. Their team and producers probably felt that the cuteness of Cheer Up was what would be the most successful path (and they were absolutely right—countless music show wins and daesangs were won with their “cute” music), thus the shift in music style. Thanks for this reaction, can’t wait for the finale 🩵

2023-04-04 12:08:14 +0000 UTCJYP really out here only giving feedback to TWICE members after their first performance, you know he already had made his decision on who was making the group

2023-04-04 09:32:26 +0000 UTCAt this point it doesn't matter which team 'wins' or who is Major or Minor. JYP is just doing his final evaluation. I'm really looking forward to the last episode so you will FINALLY STOP TALKING ABOUT MOMO! Yes, that was Somi's baby sister.

2023-04-04 07:09:51 +0000 UTCSana's fluency in Korean at this point is amazing. Both she and Tzuyu came to South Korea in 2012. Tzuyu has a very hard time speaking while Sana just babbles away like crazy. Not long after this the foreign members of Twice were on a variety show which tested their Korean fluency. They brought in a Korean grandmother to speak with all of them and Sana was the only one that fooled the grandmother into thinking she was Korean. She even spoke in dialect!

2023-04-04 06:44:41 +0000 UTCTWICE's earlier concept was supposed to be "Wild Edge" then turned more cutesy Cheer Up onwards.

2023-04-04 06:05:18 +0000 UTCi know a lot of people are probably gonna suggest you watch TWICE TV next since it came directly after sixteen, but it's so long and so many spin-off seasons (they do random one offs, some based around comebacks, full blown multiple episode arcs, behind the scenes, vacations, single member vlogs, hobbies, etc) that'd you'd get lost in it without a concrete set up for it. so i'd suggest their youtube docu-series Seize The Light because it's shorter (9 eps) and still is personality/work based or TWICE'S Elegant Private Life (8 eps) since it's their first proper reality show post debut. Seize The Light is a little later in their career obviously (set around their twicelights tour in 2019 all the way up to the MOREx2 comeback) but it'll give a nice structured breather after everything that was sixteen without leaving you scrambling to figure out exactly what episodes of TWICE TV you would want to watch and in what order or random variety show/interviews/weekly idol/running man appearances (though running man ep 506 with them is HILARIOUS). plus you'd already heard all the titles and a few bsides up to that tour so you won't be lost in music. whereas TWICE EPL is right after debut and leading up to the cheer up comeback so you get the chaotic schedule of rookie TWICE where they got to pick random/silly things to do for fans and to each other for 8 eps and you get to see them blossom into their early personality types that you didn't really see on sixteen. this obviously isn't a full blown suggestion for you to watch those, because honestly you might want to watch it on your own or not, but i thought i'd just throw STL out there specifically just in case because a lot of people do usually like it because it lets you learn more that the girls themselves have never really talked about before both individually and as a group by that point in time. and ELP is just chaotic, messy, silly twice at their finest from their early years. (ps if you DO end up watching Seize The Light - yes, the captions are just like that. it's annoying, but you get used to it by the end of episode 1.)

2023-04-04 05:55:34 +0000 UTCAlso, all of the songs in the final showcase end up on TWICE' first album!!! I think that's really cool

2023-04-04 05:39:29 +0000 UTCBy the way all three songs of the finial round were then put in the first TWICE's EP "The Story Begins" which has LIKE OHH-AHH as title track! Yes, the little kid is Somi's sisters, and the person that looked like Jihyo is actually Jeongyeon's sister Seungyeon, I think you met her in one of the earlier episodes. She acctualy was a trainee in SM but she quit and now she is an actress

2023-04-04 05:38:54 +0000 UTCMaybe you already knew this, but Jiwon is in Fromis_9 now. I think she's doing well, and I hope that Fromis gets to keep going. They have a song I really like called DM. :)
