Ah really?! ๐ฆ I'm actually not too sure if it's required here but I know all my classmates including my mum who had to quickly get her driver's license all had to learn manual. I think they might've actually changed it recently where you can go directly to automatic

Most standard vehicles are automatic so your driverโs test only requires that youโre cable of basic vehicle control and following road rules. Ofc, like everything else in USA, these lax af rules result in a lot of idiots on the road, so factoring that is basically mandatory if you donโt wanna die in an accident. I wish I was in your country where manual driving skill is required tho. It sounds really fun
