It shows yelena doing many of Natasha's trademark (long fight in hallway, etc) to show how gritty and unpretty is the version they handed her...

2025-07-05 23:30:12 +0000 UTCIn the comics, Bob Reynolds, The Sentry, and The Void all have a much more complicated history and while the movie does borrow from the comics as far as his power sets go, his backstory has definitely been changed. The Sentry and The Void were introduced in the year 2000, in a comic book run where Sentry turns to the Avengers for help defeating his arch nemesis, The Void— a cosmic being with nightmarish powers. It’s revealed later in that run that they are in fact the same person, and they both inhabit the mind of Robert Reynolds. When Robert took a variation of a super soldier type serum, he became Sentry and The Void bonded with him due to his fractured psyche. The Void actually went on a massive rampage, killing millions of people in Manhattan, and Bob wasn’t able to contain him so he asked for Mr Fantastic and Dr Strange to help create a system that made everyone, including Bob himself, forget that the void ever existed. This prevented him from being either Sentry or Void, and he lived a normal life for a time. A bunch of comic book crap happens and eventually the two re-emerge as different personalities of Bob. The movie definitely changes the dynamics of the three, and uses Sentry and The Void as depictions of his Bipolar Disorder rather than a Dissociative Identity Disorder.
