backlit work at the studio
Added 2021-07-11 11:56:28 +0000 UTCas a photographer I never really enjoyed shooting backlit. I am much more someone who places the model on direct sunlight, full blast to the face, but there is an undeniable mood that comes from having light coming only from behind... much more intimate and personal. Working with her on this set, since what we wanted was for intentionally moody... i didnt have a choice. same images if she would have been positioned with direct sunlight to her would have had a totally different vibe.
