Patreon burnout (IMPORTANT)
Added 2018-08-02 16:58:39 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I know I posted an update not too long ago about my patreon monthly gifts, but I've given it some thought, and I realized I'm not happy with the way my patreon is run.
I spend so much time streaming patreon commissions for such little amount of money that it has taken it's toll on me. I'm considering closing my patreon for some time to think about what is sustainable to offer for each tier. I don't really want to take any more requests for August so if you would like a refund I will give it to you.
When I started this patreon, it was originally intended to be a platform where I could share my personal comic with those that were interested. I became too eager to give it away for free and then make fanart to keep people happy. I realize now that I value my time, and I want to work on things that make ME happy.
At the end of this month I will post what I will offer at each tier. The rewards will probably be dramatically reduced, and I doubt I will offer to do fan art anymore. I know this will upset some, I'm sure people have grown accustomed to seeing their requests each month but I can't offer sketches for $5, line art for $10, or full color and shading comics for $20 and $40. I understand if you will want to change or cancel your pledge. I will contact you on discord or patreon message and let you know the status of any current request.
I welcome patrons to suggest in the comments what I could offer at each tier.
If you continue to pledge your support, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart as I work through these tough times to get a fresh start.
