I recently finished a commission from DA. The commissioner wrote this story for it.
"I can't remember how long I've been here, but I saw no way out. We were nothing but specks of dust to her. We don't know her name or how she did this....all I know is one second I was on the bus home, I see her, and in an instant, my life was changed forever. People of all ages were here on this landscape...her finger ridges...like rolling hills. It was so dry...no water, or food...but most of all that eye. That menacing, unimaginably large eye was our horizon that we could never reach. We could almost see people dangling from her enormous eye lashes, hanging on for their lives...I knew my family would never see me again. Yet her eye mocked us...glaring at us...it drove me insane..that something so beautiful, could be so cruel."
