You can now see the next episode of Philosophy Tube! For regular YouTube viewers it'll be out at the end of this month. It's about settler colonialism and genocide through a historical lens (that obviously contains some explicitly drawn parallels to current events). Plus it has Jonathan Frakes as the voice of Jefferson!
The title on this one is still a work in progress, I may change it, idk. There's also an A/B/C test of different thumbnails running so don't be surprised if you see the thumbnail change too.

I love the way you laid all this out. I used to be a historical interpreter in Boston, and it was fascinating and maddening how colonists projected so much onto Indigenous people depending on what their specific worldview chose to highlight. Also very grateful you mentioned Gaza. It would be worth noting that there's been a FAR greater rise in anti-Muslim, anti-Palestinian, and anti-Arab hate crimes. Much reporting around antisemitic hate crimes is still drawn from stats by the ADL, and they are pretty much solely concerned with framing all pro-Palestine speech/action as antisemitism. There are tons of Palestinian AND Israeli scholars you could cite who agree that this history does indeed rhyme.
