WIP Breakdowns (Feb-March 2022)

Hey everyone!! Hope ya'll are doing well :) Been a minute since I did one of these so I thought I'd just talk a bit about my progress for these pieces. Hopefully I can do another one soon-ish cuz I'm excited to get to my pieces from March - May as well.

The Lake Reflections piece was a really fun concept to work on, but super tricky. It took me quite a while to finish the linework for this one, because of how much detail was required. I had some frustrations with the colours, which is why you'll see the colour scheme suddenly change halfway through. Really happy with how it turned out.

The rest are pretty straight forward. The Lion Guy one was a bit of a challenge trying to balance the colours of his blue fur with her warm colours. But I knew that going in which is why I started it in grey-scale and added colour later.

I really liked the bright colours for the Nora Leash one as well as the Ochaka one. They were really fun and simple to work on. And then the bitchsuits one also took me quite some time. Backgrounds really aren't my strong suit and I just felt like it wasn't looking the way I wanted. I'm still happy with how some of it came out but not my favorite.

All in all I'm fairly happy with how all of these came out, but I don't feel they were my best work. I really hit my stride with the next section, but more on that later!
