Hey everyone! Here are the WIPS for 2 of my favorite pieces. I'll post the HD version hopefully by Wednessday!

Here is the detailed sketch. Normally I don't go this detailed in the sketch faze, but I've learned lately that it saves me a lot of time when doing the final linework.

Here I did the linework and laid down the base colours

Here I did some rough shading and lighting. To put it bluntly, this piece was a BITCH to find the right colours for!!!!

Here is everything a lot more cleaned up, and as you can see, I was planning on taking the colours somewhere far different from the final image, because it was hard to make the green background work with the clashing colours. The lighting was great, but the colours were just off.

Here I finally settled on the green after hours of playing around with tones to find colours that don't clash. And wouldn't you know it, the final piece eventually wound up to be probably the best one I've ever done, imo

On to the next one!!!

Here I added the rough colours and final linework. This one was also extremely difficult because of the intense perspective that I had to apply, and because figuring out good lighting was also quite the bitch.
