High School DxD 2 Web Sized (Work in Progress)

As per usual, here's the rough drawing. Having multiple characters in one piece is definitely a challenge, composition wise. And also because there's 3 times as much work
Then I just do the final linework and add the base colours. This generally takes me the longest, especially when there are so many elements involved. As you can see, my base colours are very dark. I prefer to work from dark, then add light on top of it when I know I'm working with slightly more dramatic lighting.
Here I establish the basic lighting. I subtly add different hues to their skin to make it more life like.
Here I add more of the highlights. Skin is very reflective and therefore you have to be very careful with the angles where the light is coming from. The red reflective light helps define the shapes a bit more.
