Revy Web Sized (+Work in Progress)
Added 2019-03-17 19:34:35 +0000 UTCI actually had some trouble with this piece as well due to starting off with the wrong colours. But after messing around with the filter and opacity settings, I got what I wanted ;)
As per usual, I started off with the rough lines.
Then I do the final linework and put in the base colours. At this point I usually don't really know what I wanna use as a background, (which is a habit I really don't recommend, because your background plays a huge role in your overall composition, color scheme and lighting)
Here's where I noticed that my colours weren't working well. It was just too dull and bland, so I wanted to add more vibrance. So I started playing with the layer settings until I found something I liked.
This might seem like a big jump, but all I did was finish the basic shading in my new colours and added a background.
Here's where I added all the little details such as highlights in her hair, and reflective light from the moon. I also did that all over her body.
And after that I just added the final details needed to finish the piece ;)
