The door creaked slightly, and Sinon froze, her sharp senses immediately kicking in. She glanced over her shoulder, her blue-gray eyes narrowing slightly before softening when she saw him standing there, his face a mix of surprise and hesitation.
“Didn’t anyone teach you to knock?” she teased, her voice carrying a playful edge despite the slight blush creeping up her cheeks. She turned slightly, letting the water continue to flow over her, the steam curling around her figure like a veil.
“I wasn’t expecting company,” she added, her lips curving into a small, teasing smirk. “But… since you’re here, you might as well make yourself useful. Pass me that towel?”
He stepped closer, carefully picking up the towel draped nearby. His gaze flickered nervously, catching glimpses of her through the steam. Sinon noticed and let out a soft laugh, her tone a mix of amusement and fondness.
“You’re acting so flustered,” she teased, reaching out to take the towel from his hand. Their fingers brushed, and she paused for a moment, her sharp eyes locking onto his. “You’ve seen me in combat, but this makes you nervous? How cute.”
She wrapped the towel around herself, the playful smile never leaving her lips. “Thanks for the assist,” she said, her voice softening as she stepped closer, the faint scent of soap lingering in the air. “Maybe next time, I’ll let you join me… if you’re brave enough.”
With that, she gave him a light shove toward the door, her laughter echoing softly as the water continued to run behind her.

「まさか誰かが来るなんて思わなかったけど。」彼女は微笑みながら続けた。「せっかくだから、役に立ってくれる？そのタオルを取ってくれない？」
彼が慎重にタオルを手に取り、近づいてきた。湯気越しに彼女をちらりと見る彼の視線が感じられ、シノンは気づいてクスリと笑った。その声にはいたずらっぽさと優しさが混ざっていた。
「なんだか慌ててるわね。」彼女はタオルを受け取るために手を伸ばしながらからかった。二人の指が一瞬触れ合い、シノンは一瞬動きを止めた。その青灰色の瞳が彼の目にしっかりと固定される。「戦場では冷静なのに、これで緊張するなんて。可愛いところあるのね。」
彼女はタオルを体に巻きながら、微笑みを浮かべたままだった。「手伝ってくれてありがと。」と、石鹸の香りを残しながら彼に近づいた。「次は一緒に入る？その勇気があればね。」
そう言いながら、彼女は軽く彼をドアの方に押し出した。彼女の静かな笑い声が、シャワーの音に溶け込んでいった。
