Demon Slayer | 3x2 Yoriichi Type Zero - FULL REACTION!

Sorry about the slow output, both Kat and I have been sick and feeling a bit burned out recently. After taking a little time to recharge the batteries, I am now ready to focus on the editing again, so that we can get back on track. The edited version of 3x1 should be out tomorrow, with more to come shortly after that. If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments!

Demons coming from a fiery hell is also very Western. Heavily influeced by Christianity. Many other religions and cultures don't have a hell like that.

About the English translation of the word "demon": The Japanese word used is actually 'oni' not 'akuma', which I believe to be a word which closer describes demons/devils as they are more typically depicted in Western culture (i.e. coming from a fiery hell like Kat said). Because I didn't know how to explain it that well myself, I asked ChatGPT to explain it for me so here goes the explanation: "In Japanese, "oni" (鬼) refers to a demon or ogre, often depicted as a malevolent being in traditional Japanese folklore. In Japanese folklore, "oni" are often depicted as fearsome, horned creatures with sharp claws and wild hair. They are typically portrayed as evil and malicious, known for causing harm to humans. Oni are believed to dwell in the invisible spirit realm and are associated with various natural disasters, diseases, and other misfortunes. Despite their terrifying nature, oni also appear in certain cultural events and festivals in Japan, such as the Setsubun festival, where people throw roasted soybeans to drive away evil spirits and invite good fortune." In short, because there's no direct translation, they opted for one of the closest ones which is "demon"
