The reactions will come out here on Patreon first, both as uncuts and edited down versions. I don't have a set schedule just yet, but I'm sure I'll fall into some sort of pattern soon enough. Anywho, I am SO EXCITED to do this, and I hope you'll enjoy following along on my journey!

But actually experiencing that first 1.5 hours again reminded me of how well they convey all the tension and show the stakes. It's gonna be wild; happy to revisit this again after a long enough time that it almost all feels new and surprising again. (c:

2023-08-03 22:52:15 +0000 UTCYes, yes, yes, yesssss!!!! BSG is an amazing show, that paved the way for so many after that, including the Expanse. To this day, it's one of my favourites - and the score by Bear McCreary (Richard Gibbs in the miniseries) is still at the top of my sci-fi scores of all time. I saw that you requested advice on the viewing order, and while I agree with most of the suggestions, I feel most left some details out, so I'm throwing my hat in the ring with my recommended viewing order: The miniseries goes first, then seasons 1 and 2. Then the minisodes "Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance, which bridge seasons 2 and 3, and which I haven't seen mentioned in the comments yet. Then season 3. Then Battlestar Galactica: Razor. There's a debate on whether or not to watch Razor at the end of S2 instead, and mute certain parts, but I would leave it for after S3, as the other option means a lot of fidgeting that wouldn't work for a reaction channel - especially thinking of the uncut versions for Patreon. There's a series of minisodes called Razor Flashbacks that were cut scenes, most of them integrated into the extended cut of Razor, but some choose to watch them separately to make sure they see all of them. Next comes Season 4, episodes 1-11. Then Battlestar Galactica: The Face of the Enemy, a short ten episode web series that adds a lot to one of the characters and helps make sense of their arc. Then episodes 12-15. Then Battlestar Galactica: The Plan (though that one's fully optional). Then the Final Five episodes. If you're a completionist, then watch Caprica (one season), and Battlestar Galactica, Blood and Chrome. That's it for me - enjoy the ride!!
