They dont plan on stopping their hatred for paradise either becasue having a common enemy keeps the countires aligned. many people have died from pure titans and reiner and the other warriors canadites. erens attack on marley was the actual strike back on marley after years of genocide. ofc it gave people hope

Very good question, but I think his true king was someone else :) and maybe even more than that if you look up fanfiction :D

All your life you were fed lies, forced to live like livestock behind the walls, and then attacked by marleyans who think that you are the spawn of devil. Why not support someone like Eren, who is willing to take action and take out the enemy at all costs, not that he's right and you should support him, but in these circumstances it's understandable that Eren has so many followers. I think his support level went even higher after Eren was imprisoned and the government being secretive about their plans, many people didn't like that.

2022-05-13 20:34:17 +0000 UTCNo spoilers, just saying that the reason the people are behind Eren is shown in episode 12 of this season. After a century of being eaten, the people of Paradis love the fact that Eren went to Marley on his own and gave them revenge. It's not good, but it's realistic.
