There simply had to be more to Kenny's story, and that certainly turned out to be true with a much needed look into his past, which led to even more revelations, mysteries, and yes... questions!

I like how you have now found the enjoyment of getting hit by Attack on Titan cliffhanger, think of people who watched one episode per week and sometimes they even skipped week and had to wait 2 weeks for one more.

Kenny became one of my favorite short lived characters <3 at first I assumed he wanted to become a titan just because he was power hungry but him being interested in seeing the world from a compassionate perspective really caught me by surprise, I never thought this character who relied so much on violence and power would end up having this kind of aspiration... I also really liked his monologue about people being drunk on different things to keep pushing on. He really left a huge impression of me in just a few episodes. I totally understand Kat being hard on Levi, I liked him since the beginning but I watched this show with my mom and she wasn't a fan of him lol, to her he just seemed like a cold badass dude but during this season she ended up warming up to him and now he's one of her favorites. Personally, I think there have always been little glimpses of him being people-oriented, he really cares about his comrades but it seems (to me, at least) that he just doesn't know many ways to express it properly, probably because of the things he has experienced, I suppose? You guys pick up on so much more than I ever did though, it's embarrassing 😂 I was hard on Levi at first but I love him now. I'm noticing on this re-watch just how often he does show care for his friends and I think you're right about why he thanked them all. Sooo nervous / excited for what's to come!
