After the tragic cliffhanger of the first episode, they waste no time getting right into the action - what a spectacular chase sequence that was! The story is really not slowing down either, with surprises and revelations just springled throughout. It's a lot to process, but we are so freaking intrigued!

Unless you know the context or actually go into analyzing mode, you won't figure out whats happening. Every anime only at the time it aired was very confused in the discussion threads on MAL and Reddit.

I looked at his IMDB (don't worry, I skipped over the Attack on Titan part to not get spoiled about anything) and I couldn't find anything that I've seen, so I must just find some familiarity in his voice βΊοΈ

2022-01-14 18:16:16 +0000 UTCi actually prefer the manga version. because in the anime so much of mikasa's character has been reduced to "I've gotta save eren no matter what!!" and so many of levi's dialogues that are essential imo to his character has been cut. but still, it's not by any means a bad arc. i just wish they hadn't cut those parts out

A little fun fact for Kat since they were wondering of Kenny's voice actor ,his name is Kazuhiro Yamaji and hes actually married with Hange's voice actress Romi park LOL and HΕchΕ« Εtsuka is Jiraiya's VA ;)

I believe it's because Isayama had gotten criticism for how long this arc took in the manga and he wanted to do it differently this time around for the anime, so a lot happens very quickly. I personally find this arc very satisfying, so I don't feel like it's "rushed" or anything like that. The fast pace is exciting imo.
