Well, we sorta knew where this was all heading.. But it was still quite tough and emotional to watch. Now we at least know a little more about Levi, and why he chose to follow Erwin Smith.

2021-11-19 18:45:08 +0000 UTCI get how you feel about Erwin, I was also confused as to why he treated Levi like that when his two closest friends (I'd say family!) just died in a horrible way, like it was so unnecessary cruel. Then I read the manga for this ovas and felt so much better about Erwin because he wasn't like that at all, I don't know why the animation studio changed his character so much for this episodes, given how important they are to understand Levi's feelings towards Erwin :(

2021-11-19 18:27:38 +0000 UTCIMO I think Erwin ´pathetic ´ sentence was to push Levi and make him come out so he can explain things to him on cleanly. I always thought of Erwin as a pragmatic leader but he also saw sooo much tragedy that he became numb and focused on humanity ´s fate hence the fact he spent just 2 seconds when he spotted Flagon’s mutulated body and then he went forward. For me his words for Levi was his way to show care.
