SPOILER-Y thoughts for No Way Home!
So I had this though that Spidey and Deadpool have patrolled quite a few times before NWH, and are kind of colleagues/friends. But Wade only found out about Spiderman's real identity when the rest of the world did, and then didn't get a chance to interact with Peter/Spidey before the memory wipe. Now after the spell, everyone else Spidey had contact with on a more regular basis were ppl who have known about his identity for a long time, and thus lost pretty much all of their memories of interacting with spiderman along with their memories of Peter. Except for Wade. His memories of Spiderman and their patrols and hangouts were separate enough from Peter that he didn't lose them.
And so, the first time they see each other after the spell, Peter is just so relieved to have someone with who he has a shared history with, who knows how he takes his coffee and has inside jokes with etc, that he just has to give Wade a big hug π
Wade is very confused but happy about this turn of events.
