This story is really getting intense, there's so much plotting and secrecy going on, it feels like. What is Amon planning? And who in the world can we trust besides our core group of characters? So many questions!

Tarrlok is Fox news lmfaoo. His MO is fear mongering to justify oppression & brutality. He's giving big "all lives matter" / "blue lives matter" energy

To use Sonny's word you guys are very inquisitive.

Yes, especially if you're already bad with names

I love the theme of fear in this episode, Korra was truly terrified of Amon and losing her bending because she believes that bending is all she has. As we've seen her whole identity has been based around the idea of being the Avatar and bending so the thought that she could lose that is basically her greatest fear. Also love that admission of fear at the end by Korra (So much Tenzin wisdom!)

Interesting predictions guys, can't wait for later episodes!

Well said, Korra grew up on an isolated compound with very little interaction with peers and other individuals. This also explains her relative naivete when it comes to all the politics and manipulations from people in power. For her, being the Avatar so far is just fighting but now she is faced with a multitude of other dynamics involved in her role. I imagine every avatar has to face this learning process and make mistakes along the way.

its kinda hard to keep up with these new characters names ,when too much its happening @_@

I think it's important to see that Korra is double scared because bending is 'all' she has. Well, that's atleast what she thinks. She wants to be the avatar so bad and her bending is her strongest asset. The idea of that being taken away is terrifying for her. She would have nothing. Also pretty scary that Tarrlok, as a council member, is just manipulating a teenager...

Well it was only the first two seasons. After book 2, Nick told them they could make 2 more seasons, part of the reason why books 3 and 4 are so good is because they are one great, cohesive story.

I love this series as much as ATLA because the problems are much more realistic. It's so much more humanizing and relatable in many ways. You're going to love all of this, i'm sure since you like the Avatar realm in general. One sidenote; People probably already told you, but they were forced to make 1 season at a time, and i think they did an excellent job at that! I'll be riding this bike with you all and i'm looking forward to it👊

Loved your reactions! If you ever get upset with Korras decisions just remember she is 17, and she was secluded her entire life. She doesn't understand the world yet, and rightfully so. But this fear she's going though is good for her and she can become stronger because of it. And as for next episode.... well there's a small handful of episodes like the next one you may not be the biggest fan of. Just have some fun with it. See you then!

There are certainly a lot of names to remember!! The councilman from the Northern Water tribe, who made the task force is named Tarrlok. Toph’s daughter’s name is Lin. The man who faced Aang years ago is named Yakon, and the girl who hit Mako with her scooter is named Asami!
