It's time for some more Korra! She still needs to learn airbending, but things are not going well in that department. She is getting to participate in a very cool but difficult sport though, playing with a couple of brothers, one of whom has a somewhat familiar name..

We can definitely see with context why Aang struggled with earthbending considering how the fundamental aspect of airbending is to deflect when you meet resistance rather than "Face it head on" as Toph would say.

Air is the element of "freedom" something Korra has never been able to truly experience, yet Tenzin puts even more restrictions on her like trying to control what she watches/listen too, when Pro bending turned out to be exactly what she needed.

2020-11-17 23:25:33 +0000 UTCKorra is definitely more hot headed than Aang, but something to keep in mind is that she’s been sheltered her whole life by the white lotus, and has basically only trained to be the avatar; she hasn’t really had the chance to be a normal teenage girl - it’s really interesting to watch how she handles things and how she grows and changes, like at the end where she apologized to Tenzin. Which was so sweet!
