It's the penultimate episode, and things are literally heating up! Aang vs Ozai, Zuko and Katara vs Azula, and Sokka, Toph and Suki doing their best to fight off the fire nation airships. Everything going on was just breathtakingly intense, and then that cliffhanger..

The music in the last episodes is so amazing because the upped the budget and used an orchestra for the score. You can really hear the depth of it over other episodes. A reason why it's so emotional.

It was not an epic track of high proportion, but a timid music symbolizing the sad tragedy that this war has brought. A family so messed up that it not only broke the world but also leads to a brother having to fight his younger sister to the death. I feel they nailed the direction of that sequence perfectly; both the music and animation. I'm happy Sonny that you highlighted the moment it happened. Great reaction guys

Season 3 Sokka, doesn't even need to think about it, got Suki and Toph, bought to wreck that fire air fleet.

That last rejection also plays on her. She reacts to this when she is touchy about her two maids coming to see her. She asks if her father sent them too.

2020-11-08 01:53:58 +0000 UTCThere is something so sad about a brother and a sister fighting like this. Beautiful! but so sad. Azula's hallucination of her mother says a lot. It's in her head and deep down, Azula knew her mother love her but she still couldn't believe it.

2020-11-08 01:52:17 +0000 UTCThe music and framing of the agni kai is so great because its not triumphant, its mournful. Its two traumatized kids fighting to the death and even with the incredible visuals the show still communicates that its a tragedy no matter who wins
