Developing Assets and the Formation of a Style
Added 2023-09-09 02:48:29 +0000 UTCIt's been a busy week in the Werey household, but I've still found some time do some learning!
Some of it is fairly uninteresting "under-the-hood" things, but others are very much visual!
First up with have a few tweaked character models. The new models, on the right, are my attempt to make my characters more expressive. The updated Eva model, in the lead picture, was already featured in the jewellery-only challenge piece. I've put both models side by side to see the subtle differences. I also updated Sophie, who I have a short sequence planned for.
(An aside here, but I'm really bad with names, so I also have 'character cards' on the horizon to keep everything organized for everyone!)
Our 3rd picture is a new character! With all of the model updates I was making, I had the itch to build a few characters from scratch. We're starting with a base shape, but pictures 4 and 5 are what I've settled on as her "normal size". She has a fair bit of junk in the trunk, and is quite tall. The final picture is for the hyper booty lovers :D.
Starting on Picture 7, we have another new character. Proportionally, I'm quite happy with where she is, but as you'll see in some of the subsequent pictures, I'm still experimenting with skin textures for her. Unfortunately, she lacks the same amount of confidence as her counterpart for this update. Hopefully we can help her find some!
Neither characters have had their names finalized yet.
The last bunch of pictures include some experimental skin textures under different lighting conditions. Which one is your favourite? ;)
I've also got a couple renders for Fudged Fertility cooking up, so I hope to have the next little batch completed with text added in a few days. It's...uhh...spicy.
