What I most liked about this series... it is not just about the satire, the action or the shock values. It also has a lot of quiter heartfelt moments in it, which makes the characters feel very human.

By the way you can read the comic and not be spoiled for the TV series. They are taking some big departures from the story but it works for TV where the comic is great in its own right.

2020-02-13 09:02:35 +0000 UTCWoohoo! Another of one of my favorite shows! Anthony Starr (Homelander) is such a great actor. Another show I really enjoyed with him is Banshee. It is pretty violent and has a lot of nudity, and also unfortunately was cut short because it was not renewed but it was still fantastic.
