It's two days since the experimental Shorts videos was released. While most regular obstacle course videos have gained 25k-40k views after this time, the Shorts one has just 13k views, so approximately a third of what's normal.
To really give Shorts a chance though, I will make one more Shorts obstacle course video, but release it on a Friday when I have no other videos planned, probably on December 31.
The result over time for these two videos will then decide if it's worth ever making more of them or not. It seems so far that the vast majority of my viewers prefer normal horizontal videos though, and the video has clearly not been shown to hardly and new viewers by the algorithm. (The few people that Did watch it seem to like it though, as the audience retention is over 100%, while most obstacle course videos have 70-85%).
In the new video, the spiked ball will drop from the top and then roll down through the entire obstacle course, and then fall down and start over from the top (the stick figures will of course Not be able to follow it and start from the top). This obstacle course works like Obstacle Course 11, where leaving the screen on one side makes them (and the ball) appear on the same height on the other side etc.
