UnGodly Tarot Charts

Hello!

I know it's been a long time since UnGodly (formerly Zodiac Echoes) saw progress, but I don't want you to think I haven't thought about it - in fact, I was able to squeeze in some design work in the last month, though it's only in pencil note form for now.

Mainly, I've been working on a system that regulates dungeon exploration through its own action economy (if you're used to traditional rpg systems, you could think of it as "always being in combat/turn order). The basis is the FPS System, but there's quite a few interesting gimmicks I want to try.

(for those who are new to the Patreon, UnGodly is inspired by Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, Devil Survivor, The World Ends With You, and Monsterhearts. It is a game of young and adult people delving into cognitive dungeons to fight an encroaching world distortion.)

In the meantime, I'd like to share with you two page spreads that required a significant amount of work and rewriting - and they might very well not be final.

These pages let you create a character by assigning an Infamy (what others say about you) and a Secret (what you struggle to share with others). Remember, this is a game about young-to-adult people in difficult situations, so be careful with this document. Several of the entries will probably be a bit "too real" and might make you uncomfortable.

How do I use these?
It's pretty simple: draw two cards from a Tarot deck, ignoring Fool and World (or roll 2d20 and make sure they roll different numbers). Then, assign one card (or number) to Infamy, and another to Secret.

For instance, if you draw Temperance and Lovers, you may assign Lovers to Infamy and Temperance to Secret, or do the opposite.

What kind of feedback do I need?
At this moment, I'm mostly trying to make sure that the various combinations create interesting character concepts/struggles, while also making sure to deal with these topics in a conscientious way.

Thank you in advance for your patience!
