Take part in Monster Creation!

Hi!

Just today I had a fun idea - as a reward for all $3+ patrons, I'd love to work together with you and create a monster for the Fabula Ultima bestiary section. I have a list of critters I intend to write stats for - especially focused around the first 40 levels or so, which will likely be the most played - but I think it'd be really cool to feature some community-created creatures.

So, if you are interested, please send me a message with a short creature concept. Something akin to a Pokédex entry, basically. You can see what I'm talking about by looking at the Cursed Pumpkin stat block here:

As you can see, the description is pretty minimal; however, I encourage you to also describe the general powers you have in mind for the creature - any elements it might be associated with, for example.

Last but not least, a quick word on the different creature species:

Beast: Any natural creature with animal intellect. They may be weird, but generally have no magical powers.
Examples: Cutterpillar, Giant Bat, Griffin
Construct: Artificial entities animated through magic.
Example: Gargoyle, Golem, Magitek Trooper
Demon: Powerful spirits that have gained physical form.
Example: Imp, Nightmare, Spriggan
Elemental: Physical incarnation of a natural element.
Example: Chromatic Ooze, Leviathan, Phoenix
Humanoid: Any intelligent creature able to use tools.
Example: Kobold, Ogre, Kappa
Monster: A catch-all category for weird creatures with magical powers and gifted with near-humanoid intellect.
Example: Basilisk, Drake, Garuda
Plant: Animated vegetation.
Example: Alraune, Shroomkin, Treant
Undead: Corpses given life through magic, or revenant spirits unable or unwilling to merge with the stream of souls past their death.
Example: Zombie, Dullahan, Living Fossil
