"Sandworm Otter"
Added 2014-11-22 05:42:23 +0000 UTC$30+ patrons can suggest one rough concept for me to make into a Mortasheen monster, and this is the first near-finished one. Clownmonster's suggestions included "a cross between and otter and a sandworm" and they liked my sketch of that the most out of several possibilities. I originally said I'd do these requests as pencil sketches but uh...I think I'm just gonna be coloring them like my usual finalized monsters. So, Clownmonster can let me know here if this is a good color scheme for it; I gave it purple stripes to channel Beetlejuice sandworms just a bit. I'll probably be using it as a canon monster. The names I was thinking of are either "Dunesayer" (from doomsayer) or "Dustelid" (from mustelid)....it may have the ability to control wind, so it can kick up sandstorms? The sting on its tail is venomous, and the whole monster can probably spin like a drill. These requests will be distinct from the monthly monster I promised, too!
