It's modeled after a mosquito pupa, but its concept is a huge, desert-loving serpentine being which turns victims into obedient, withered mummies. It just doesn't feel complete yet, not quite Mortasheen enough. I'll keep at it, probably.

Just read about an insect called the "sleeping chironomid", and seeing this guy's mosquito-like features and dessication abilities, I thinks it's a good fit. Maybe make this into a chironomid fusion.
