Added 2024-08-29 05:20:01 +0000 UTCOh, Apple is acting up again, forcing Patreon to change its subscription system to a cycle payment and adding a 30% Apple tax, meaning the payment date is the day you join Patreon rather than the first of each month.
This is quite a good idea, but it will be troublesome for creators who offer rewards once a month. Patreon has promised to launch corresponding tools in 2025 to address this issue. Before these tools are available, I will disable subscriptions to Patreon on Apple devices; please make sure to subscribe through a browser.
