This implies that dry wall is still used for construction in this "future" knowing the course of humanity this is still a likely case, even then kids will find whatever way to burrow into a given infrastructure wherever weakness in the foundation are to be discovered

2025-07-06 16:58:41 +0000 UTCI love how Douglas here knows Talita so intimately that he knows that she can hear them, even for her to remember him as such to be a part of her dream, it also shows that the foster care system hadn't understood that yet until Douglas pointed it out. Teens regardless of species appear to be moody, but there is always a reason as to why they are moody, they always have something on their minds but don't know how to communicate in a way adults will understand, its so relatable yet saddening to know that it goes the same way for others. I cant imagine how Talita felt in her teen years with her dysmorphia as a xeno human in human built society, not being able to connect to it having lived it her whole life and being so alien to it as a literal alien.
