after seeing how talita rests her head on her hand, i tried it with my thumb and pinkie stuck out, and it's fairly comfortable! i often end up mirroring gestures in the comics, the expression through body language is so well done and i love it!

This makes me wonder what kind of "right to roam" laws/doctrines could have developed. I'm Canadian but am vaguely aware that europeans often have those kinds of laws in a way we don't.
On one hand I could see that isthmus getting away with exorbinant passage fees of some kind in a way other places couldn't but if I were a nomadic clan withholding trade of desirable goods from far off could be a useful bargaining chip!
I could easily see it being a bit of centaur home planet trivia: "Where is the only place nomads must pay passage fees? The Shta isthmus, the only place they can't go around."

Jay might have more to add, but centaurs are also capable of making infra-sound with their excurrent nostrils that humans can’t hear!
Apparently they laugh with infrasound ‘barks’

oh! oh this reminds me of a question--so centaur vocal anatomy is fairly-well-suited to making all the sounds of human languages; is the reverse true? are there sounds in centaur languages that humans aren't well-suited to making?

I really love this little bit of worldbuilding + character interaction, not to mention how it ties into the earlier scene of Talita asking Bip about the centaurs who lived on the Runaway before

Man I’d love to see more about skychaser culture! I wonder if they’re closer to Talita culturally than true homeworld centaurs are.
If nothing else, they could probably trade notes on building custom centaur accommodation for spacecraft

The people who own the isthmus in the southeast must make an absolute fortune off tariffs and passage rights.
