"the orbital station grandma polycule" is so fucking powerful lmao

ClockworkC0rvus

Thanks Erika :) Holograms never took off because they're not really... Possible, for most definitions of the word. You can't project a 3D shape veiwable from all angles without basically making that shape, because you need something to project on. Tiny flying robots or a lightweight dynamic projection surface can be used, but they're not intangible and have their own mobility limitations. VR never took off outside enthusiast circles and virtual theme parks, because it has limited applications and makes many people nauseous because you can't make a wearable rig that fools the human inner ear. 2d text ironically continues to be the most cheap and efficient way to deliver information between two parties, despite dreams of a metaverse.

Jay Eaton

That design tablet reminds me, is there a reason that VR hasn't take off or that holograms or things like that aren't very common? As always the page looks good!

Erika Spooner

Nah, the skyhook has no habitat. The orbital station is a seperate structure that has the grandmas and also serves as a pitstop for passengers going to and fro dirtball, in between the ground-to-orbut boats and instellar ferries.

Jay Eaton

Oh my god, people live in the skyhook? Goodness!

Deneb

Now, just because a lot of convenient coincidences started to pile up exactly when the AI with a previously established talent for hacking got access to their main servers, it's no reason to suspect them

Guilherme Töws

Okay, but you need to release that very first panel, no context, and use it to advertise your patreon. Just the first image and the first word bubble. Top left corner only. But you need to. It's Amazing!

Tailed spacers are so darn cute with them big ol ears edit: also obvs orbital station grandma polycule is the sentence ever

Haunted by the increasing plausibility of consensually but illegally acquiring a ship.

Andy Teacupcultist

Dynamic Draft? Is that some sort of engineering software?

Rigel Regent

Biiiiiiiiiiip? What did you do?

Corvin

You *need* to be advertising orbital station grandma polycule specifically on social media, it will surely tempt people into paying you to find out what that is
