Also, the chapter isn't over yet, but I'll be taking a short break from RttS pages to work on pages for the Almost Real Book. I have tried to do both simultaneously but it seems my brain only has room for one project at a time. The train can only run on one pair of rails, so to speak.

Man, I'm really taken with the framing and symbolism of this page coinciding with Talita and Bip's conversation- the fate of the Runaway being an unrivaled, fast, and starbound ship succumbing to ground echoing Talita at peak physical fitness running at insane speeds... in one place, on a treadmill, going nowhere, in a dome that feels like a cage despite how massive it is. Just beautiful storytelling throughout every element

2024-03-13 22:21:35 +0000 UTCY'know, the non-linear nomad written language makes an awful lot of sense for it being readable by speakers of different languages that could very well have rather different grammar and word order. Also, on language related stuff, is that Jngklasht language Bip shows on their roll in that AMA answer a Sunchaser language, or a Nightchaser one?
