Is there information on how the centaurs were contacted? Was it an accident or some fluke? Why did the bugs contact a non-space-age civilization?

Love Idrisah's protective disapproval of Mel on Talita's behalf. I'd be mad too, Talita has gone through a LOT!

It's definitely a point of controversy. Avians and humans prefer non-interference, bug ferrets see interference as a form of necessary social assistance.

Talita avoids the limelight and publicity at all costs because of the way she is. She isn't even necessarily well known among humans outside of the Garriton Cylinder and the college she went to. She is extremely prolific in posting centaur accessibility designs on the RttS version of Thingieverse, though.

I'm curious what other centaurs think of Talita and if she is a "household name" on the centaur planet. At the same time, centaurs seem slow on wanting to aquire technology due to them wanting to keep to their traditions. So I don't blame them but I wonder if any of them think Talita is super cool for being an engineer in space...
