She isn't even necessarily well known among humans outside of the Garriton Cylinder and the college she went to. She is extremely prolific in posting centaur accessibility designs on the RttS version of Thingieverse, though.

At the same time, centaurs seem slow on wanting to aquire technology due to them wanting to keep to their traditions. So I don't blame them but I wonder if any of them think Talita is super cool for being an engineer in space...
