I need to make my own art for the landscape panel, but I was doing digital sketches and just getting more and more frustrated and I'd already taken forever dragging my feet developing the rest of this page. SO, In the interest of getting a fucking move on, I've stuck some caba art in there. You can look at more of his work over here. I'll be doing a little watercolor painting to replace it later, because painting is easier off the computer.
Here's more (very disorganized) information on BFL-2, as well:
The three characters for BFL-2 mean "we(international group) together sign."
It's very minimalist and rigid in comparison to ASL or other human sign languages. More like a pattycake game than conversational gestures.

I see the eye whiskers/lashes have become a minor detail again, love the bugferret with the face stickers. knowing what to look for you can infer each of their individual personalities. It appears this ferret family uses green triangle-shaped earrings as a marriage signifier which is once again very cute.

2023-04-28 07:59:46 +0000 UTCI recall an earlier post on tumblr where Jay described it like, "if the first humans aliens encountered spoke Finish", or something similar to that. Basically the language has a considerably smaller population compared to other bug ferret languages.
