A Couple from Yesterday

Yesterday was a good day but I was at a hotel that I've shot at before - I didn't have good light, there was a baseball tournament of young boys so there was NO chance at opening the windows.....not to mention noise all the time. There internet was acting as if it was on it's last legs the entire time so even though I was editing as I shot with the intention to upload things in "real time" it didn't work.
But - I SHOT.
What I'm taking away:
1. I think my days of simply shoot lingerie in hotel rooms are over. I had a "been there done that" feeling the entire time.
2. I think I need to be outside in the world more. I don't want to be confined.
3. I also think that because all of my art projects right now really are "fine art" that show conception of an idea and content that I've just moved past this.
4. At the same time it was uncomfortable though. Which leads me to believe that I just need to do more without expectations until things feel natural again.

PS - I have a lot to show you, I just have to sit down and actually make the posts.
I have a whole mask project but I don't quite know how to shoot them. I've shot them all at least 3 times on different surfaces but I don't like any of them. :(
If anyone has tips please let me know!

YES YES! This is the plan. I'm getting more organized now to move it forward but it's also very different, I feel like they deserve nature, forest, lakes, trees and foliage. The idea I'm working on right now is styling each mask with a dress (no shows barefoot for vulnerability) and then I'll shoot each one in nature during this summer. I have to still think about how to display all of this in a gallery but I know exactly what it should look like as a magazine. I'm very excited to get my shit together and shoot them all though!
