Here's a big post with all the comic PDFs for the $5+ patrons! Will be updated as I make progress on things!
Short Comics:
These can be found in the short comics collection here, or the comics tag here. Searching a specific character's name (e.g. "Talita") can help you find posts about them.
Short Stories and Collections:
FIRST CONTACT (complete, monochrome)
Talita, a young alien in human foster care, meets other centaurs for the first time.
CONFESSION (complete, lineart)
Shyam the tailed spacer mechanic finally confesses her feelings to Talita, but it takes some convincing.
RttS Short Stories: GROWTH CHART
A compilation of a bunch of short stories I've published on the web (plus some new content) about Talita growing up from a tiny horsekitten to a 3 meter tall alien hexapod in human foster care.
Compiles the first "Ask Me Anything" event I did with the RttS characters. They respond to reader questions about themselves and their world in the form of short comics.
Compiles the second "Ask Me Anything" event I did with the RttS characters. This one is twice as long because I got carried away.
Compiles the third "Ask Me Anything" event I did with the RttS characters.
Longer Stories:
AIRSLED (complete, greyscale)
Airsled Post Collection
On the pre-industrial avian homeplanet, a struggling diver community rushes out a shipment of lucrative cargo before a monsoon hits. There’s only one vessel fast enough for the job– the airsled, a cargo glider pulled by flying livestock. Overseeing the flight is quartermaster Vrazi, who's dragging their shy indentured servant Piawii along for the ride. Will Vrazi acknowledge that they're exploiting Piawii, or will the sled fall to keep their pride aloft?
TERRANAUT (incomplete, 100 rough pages)
Terranaut Post Collection
Chkbrr, a scud terrestrial researcher, has a fight with their sibling Rzzt-tt that results in them accidentally getting stranded in the desert. Chkbrr must survive until the next train can take them back to the ocean, and try to get their sibling to understand their need for trust and independence, despite their flaws.
RUNAWAY to the STARS (only complete pages, updating by page)
RUNAWAY to the STARS (rough pages, updates by chapter)

RttS Book 1 Post Collection
Talita and her two human friends, Idrisah and Gillie, are working at a dead-end recycling plant in the middle of nowhere. In one of the spacecraft in line to be scrapped, Talita discovers Bip, the presumed-dead onboard A.I. of wrecked pirate ship. Bip makes a proposal too interesting to refuse: help repair their ship— the Runaway— and get it back into space without alerting management or the authorities. Talita, Gillie, and Idrisah realize somewhere along the way that leaving on the Runaway might be a good idea for more than just Bip.
Terranaut rough pages are on hold while I create finished pages for RttS.
I was given permission to share the entire story of RttS online as a webcomic from the publisher, Iron Circus Comics! The physical book and spiffy PDF digital copy will still be published by them when all the pages are complete. I post all of the finished pages here immediately after I complete them, and the page backlog is slowly released via the public webcomic site.
Do to popular request, I am now updating the pdf file of the rough comic pages, for people who want to see what the comic pages looked like before they were finished. It gets updated every time I finish a chapter, to keep things simpler for myself. Some pages are partially lined in the old pdf files I'm sharing from, as I worked on the rough document erratically.

Just re-read terranaut (and finally read air-sled!) recently and it made me emotional all over again. You are a fantastic writer!!

2025-08-30 02:39:52 +0000 UTCJust finished reading Terranaut, and it’s SO GOOD. I love the way they emote with their antennae and the biotech design and the architectural styles. The scene of the siblings finally talking about their problems was so touching. And I absolutely adore the creative things you so frequently did with the perspective, composition, and panel layout. I sincerely hope this project gets revisited once RttS is done.

2023-10-03 20:26:29 +0000 UTCHey, eh... Why is RttS removed? Would love to read it from the beginning to... well as far as it's gotten as of now.

2023-09-25 22:48:00 +0000 UTCQuestion: How advanced are the avians during Airsled? 1500's, 1600's?

2023-09-25 22:30:29 +0000 UTCJust going back through these, and something I always really appreciate is how effectively you introduce information through interactions and asides without it ever feeling like exposition dumps. It all feels so naturally immersive and full of personality. :)

2023-09-05 04:31:18 +0000 UTCWait, so when the finished pages come out around February, will you also be only sharing the first 70 of those due to the NDA? Or since the book is being published in the near future can more pages of the finished version be shown?

2022-01-20 05:55:08 +0000 UTCOh whoops, sorry for the unclear wording. I mean around February, close to the spring equinox here in the northern hemisphere.

2021-12-13 09:57:35 +0000 UTCWhat do you mean by "late Winter 2022"? January or December? To me (in Australia) late Winter is August, but I don't think you're in the Southern Hemisphere, so my pre-existing knowledge is less then useful.

2021-12-13 06:19:33 +0000 UTCThe current estimate for the first book is 2023. The times are still flexible because I haven't worked on a narrative project of this scale before and I'm figuring out how to structure my own work-life as I go. Also, there are four planned books. The publishing schedule on those is even more flexible, as it's highly dependent on how well the first book does.
