2021-12-31 21:42:25 +0000 UTCLooking good! I can definitely see the otter influence in her run cycle (that hunched back position, ouch). Would it be illegal to create a GMH population like tailers in the current setting, since they have so much trouble in normal G, or is it less of a concern because it's easier for a person to spend their entire life in space?

2021-10-26 18:05:55 +0000 UTCNope, walking/running quadrupedally for long periods is hard on her wrists and shoulders, and walking bipedally is hard on her lumbar spine and feet. It's a lose/lose situation and Shyam would rather hurt her back than her hands.

Speaking of, are the joints in Shyam's arms/shoulders built to absorb this sort of shock? I would imagine that using your arms for propulsion would cause one heck of an impulse - wrist strain, too, since she seems to be doing at least some pushing with her wrists.
