The opposite of dating an avian, partnerships with ferrets are partnerships with a GROUP of ferrets, and require constant engagement on a daily basis. It's extremely emotionally and physically taxing for even the most social person, and humans who marry into ferret groups often have to go on leaves once a month to rest from the constant interaction.
Avian and ferret relationships are almost unheard of because of their clashing social needs, but there's always the occasional tale of an avian three month fling with a ferret family going awry.
