A 20 hour drive can be exhausting, you did stop where along the way and get some rest, right? Even if you and the husband switch out driving it can be stressful on that long of a trip. After I got my drivers license, my dad would ask me to take over when going to California or Montana so that we would not be stopping and drive straight through. That was tough even for a teen.
