Added 2025-07-11 16:00:24 +0000 UTCY'all, this one was a classic example of a roller coaster production. It begins: "I'm a genius" Halfway thru: "Omg this is horrible" Doing voiceover: "Truly my worst work" Finishing the edit through tears: "I was born to do this."
SO. Truly I don't know what to expect haha. I think if you liked the game you'll like this. I think if you had frustrations with the twist in the final act of the game, you will love this and feel better about it. If you hated the game, you don't exist who am I talking to?
No psych in this one, just my observations. And let me tell ya, it felt incredible to just GUSH about a game for a change. Obviously there was analysis but half of analysis is just saying "LOOK HOW GOOD IT IS THIS IS WHY."
Anyway, I'm very tired and I've used all of my creative juices so this post likely makes no sense and has the grammatical prowess of a toddler with a typewriter. But all that to say... thank you. It feels amazing to write something very vulnerable and from the heart and know that it'll be welcomed with open arms. You all are genuinely so wonderful. Thanks for watching my silly videos.
Oh and I'm still doing a stream for y'all soon. I didn't do an editing stream because I decided I really wanted y'all to see this fresh and untarnished. But I've got something up my sleeve. See you this weekend.

Really appreciated your words on the game's inspirations - it's lovely to see a game so brazenly wearing them, whilst at the same time being so much it's own thing. I had FF10 in mind from the very start, couldn't stop seeing similarities, and then when Lettre à Maelle played and it's about a single note away from 'To Zanarkand' (a tune that still kills me 20 years later), I knew I was in love... Keep up the great work! And please keep talking about this game as I don't think I'll be bored of thinking about it for a very long time.

2025-07-25 07:37:22 +0000 UTCI usually recommend people who are playing Expedition 33 to watch your video about Artificial Romance because learning about how deep artificial relationships can be adds depth to the final decision imho. For Alicia, here artificial relations can be physical which removes the biggest downside, so it adds to the argument on if this being the "good" ending. I still choose to side with Verso during my first playthrough and after watching Alicia ending, I'm glad I did.
