Happy New Year!!!

I hope you guys had an amazing Christmas, (if you celebrate it!). I saw some family and got some nice things, a fragrance I’d been after, some sweet makeup bits from my grandma, the mascara is amazing!! I’ve been using serum for the past few months so my lashes are looking really long, wanna see a picture? I’ll try to take a good one tomorrow. I also got some new pyjamas and some chocolates. :D My favourite thing about Christmas is being with family, we went to a Classic Car show on Boxing Day and I got some cool photos. I also played hide and seek with my baby cousins and it was the sweetest thing! They hid in the most obvious places but I pretended I had no idea where they were, they loved it haha. I also love watching my little sister open her gifts, I helped my parents choose things she really wanted, and she said it was the best Christmas/Birthday ever, her birthday is very close to Christmas.

I can’t believe it’s 2025… it feels almost wrong. ;’) Especially when I think about the fact that 2015 was 10 years ago. It feels like my childhood is slipping away. All the kids are different now. That reminds me, my little sister showed me her school group chat, all of the kids in her year were doing video Christmas hauls, all 11 years old and quite literally not one of them got a toy. I was kinda surprised they were posting it all in a groupchat of the full school year, everything they got. Some of them edited the videos and acting like influencers; one even added subtitles. It feels next level compared to the bragging from when I was 11. My sister was the only one who got toys (besides kids who also didn’t film a haul). One kid got an iPhone 16 Pro Max, AirPods, skincare (not a clue what for lol), makeup, whitefox hoodies, Stanley cups, one girl even got Victoria Secret pyjamas… it’s totally a new generation. I think it’s so bad for them to compare the things they got, I can imagine some kids feeling super down after seeing those videos. At 11, I got littlest pet shops, an animal jam membership, ice skating kit, Pokemon XY eeveelution plush a little jewellery gift from grandparents. I remember I got an iPod touch and FREAKED out, I was so excited, I still have all my old photos from it, it’s also still got Flappy Bird, KiK, Retrica, Videostar, Geometry Dash, Weheartit. I went on an LPS photography rampage hahaha. I remember the worst gift I could open was clothes, lol. I used to wear a shirt that says ‘This is my favourite T-Shirt’, I think if my little sister knew 11 year old me, she’d think I was too childish and wouldn’t wanna be my friend!! I was also Minecraft obsessed at this time, genuinely one of my favourite years of my life, I think if I could relive one it could be this one. Everything was just so exciting.

I feel like I kinda side ranted here, but my little sister’s been having a really hard time in school and has developed an OCD related disorder, and I feel like I kinda understand why, all the kids are growing up too fast and there’s too much pressure.

Let me know how you guys have been! Going to buy a bunch of ASMR items so leave comments on things to get, I’m going to get stress balls to put on ears, different objects, I’m looking for some unique things :) I’m literally dying to record an ear cleaning type of video, such an itch to use those mics and stab objects in the ears. I’ve been holding off because I feel like I’ve done too much of the ear mics recently, but if you guys are ready let me know LOL!
