I'm Back with Announcements 😏

Thank you all for the thoughts and well-wishes while we were sick. My sons and I are much better after having covid but my husband is still having trouble breathing sometimes. We just need to keep up with his breathing treatments and the doctor says he should be feeling better (worst case scenario) in 2-3 months. It's still a little scary at times but I'm thankful it's treatable.

So that's my first life update.

My second life update is that I'm no longer working a full-time job. It was a toxic environment that put a strain on my health and required too much of my personal life so it was time to move on. Instead of replacing it with another stressful full-time job I've decided to care for myself a little and try to do something I enjoy. I've settled into a local part-time job I really like and I'm going to spend the other part of my time modding! 

This means that Patron rewards need to be updated. They're not much different than the previous rewards but if you're interested to know why I'm changing them check out the 'Why All the Changes?' section at the at the bottom of this post.

• Option to Contribute to Content and get a Credit on the Website!

Early Access gives you a few weeks with the content before it's released publicly. Download posts will continue to have any files attached to the post itself until it goes public. The third listed reward will be limited to buff creation for now, but I'd love to expand this in future if possible.

Golden Lotus Patrons: 🏵️

Pink Lotus PLUS:

I can't guarantee a lot every month until I get the hang of my new modding schedule, but that's the end goal. Also, for now Lot downloads will not be available on my site because I'm going to let them auto-post publicly here on Patreon. I will be retiring the Lot Downloads folder since all downloads will now be attached to their posts here.

So What's Next?

You may be bombarded by posts from me for a few days 😅

Firstly I'm going to add some informational posts. I've broken it up in pieces so it's easier for you to find what you need, like information on the Download Folder or how to troubleshoot issues with my content. They'll share the 'Important Info' tag so they'll all be in one place.

Then I'll be pinning a new information post to the main page for Patrons. It will contain a bunch of links to those posts, a link to the Downloads Folder, and links to any info from my website that you might find useful. 

I'll also have a Project Goals post for March, some WIP Progress posts, and a discussion post for the next Game Pack up soon after that!

Why All the Changes?

If you have been around for a while you know that I've always had a busy life but that I've really struggled keeping up making and releasing content since I started working full-time. To try to compensate I had two different release levels. There was WIP Access (Pink Lotus) which was kind of like a beta release so people could test stuff for me since I had little time to test it myself. Once I felt it was bug-free I released it to Early Access, then publicly. I also created systems and automations to try to help me manage everything but it only helped a little and often caused more problems.

Now that I have the time to properly test my content there is no need for WIP or Pre-Release levels moving forward. Due to this, all Patron membership levels have been updated and will take full effect on March 1st, 2022. I did a lot of backwards planning and scheduling and worked out a calendar for creating content that I'm pretty confident I can manage while leaving some buffer time to resolve issues so it doesn't set my other projects back. Then I worked out what I thought was a good balance between Patron rewards and the most efficient use of my time and adjusted the rewards accordingly. Some automations and systems will stick around but I'll be changing them a bit to make them more consistent and streamlined.
